    Default Restaurants with Outdoor Patios

We will be attending a convention at the Loew's in early May and we get a night to ourselves. We are looking to grab dinner for 15 of us at a local restaurant. We would love an "outdoor patio" atmosphere but yet a place we can still chat. If the restaurant was cuban/latin or had great seafood that would be great! Currently we have a reservation at Ola to sit outside but are there any other places we should consider?

    Welcome, wisconsin girl!

To re-iterate what we already discussed, I recommend the following:

Santo, Barton G., A Fish Called Avalon, Nemo, and Wish. You can links to all these restaurants in the Dining Guide.

They all have great outdoor areas in different locations on South Beach.

Does anyone else have some outdoor recommendations in Miami Beach?

Hi, wisconsin girl, welcome to MiamiBeach411. Thanks for posting your question here.

    Ola is a good restaurant.

Social, Barton G., Wish, and DeVito's all have outdoor patios.

How much do you want to spend per person?

Blue Door at the Delano is nice on the patio overlooking the pool. Great place to continue drinking afterwards as well.

Mi Michelle-i did look at a few of the others...my favorite is Wish but it was a little too pricey. Do you know what the patio is like at Ola? Their photo gallery isn't working on their website. We do want some kind of cool atmosphere but we also don't want to be in an alley somewhere...heh! make sense? But then again atmosphere equals $$ usually doesn't it?

Do you need music? Sobe is the outdoor eating capital of the World! Just about anybody has a patio. Talk to the concierge at Loews because you will need a reservation for a group that large. There is a restaurant on Ocean, really beautiful just north of 5th, I think, that seems to have large groups all the time. Anyone know the name?

Are you talking about A Fish Called Avalon located on the corner of 7th and Ocean Drive?
