Default Just ate lunch at Fogo de Cháo ...

Miami Beach (next to Clarke's on 1st St.) Holy Cow!

So I had lunch at the new Fogo de Cháo (next to Clarke's on 1st St. - Miami Beach) today - All you can eat (lunch) for under $30 - including a killer salad bar (with tabouli)! The service, with Gaucho Chefs, was like nothing ever seen in South Florida - 5 Star (very attentive, but not in the way - “professional”). They have this Color-Card system on the table..."

Looks yummy, but I admit, if I had that for lunch, I would not be able to function for the rest of the day...

The steak looks a little rare, to me.

But I like the wine glasses and serving utensils.

What's that ball on the plate, next to the mashed potatoes?

I've been to the one in Atlanta, and the food and service is top notch. Make sure you are very hungry because the food keeps coming.

    How much is the dinner?

*So you know - everything is cooked to order: If you want well-done - you get it. On most skewers the cuts are assembled from Rare > Well, and served as requested by the Gaucho Chefs. Go there very hungry ... and then be prepared for a long nap

Ah, pão de queijo! I wasn't sure.

There was this little cafeteria in Dowtown, in the same building where the Marshall's is... their pão de queijo ROCKED.

Fogo de Chao is a classic. I've been to the original in Sao Paula and it is a massive place. I still like my Grimpas in Brickell Village. But don't waste your time and money if you are not a meat eater and have had anything to eat 24 hours prior! I'm partial to the skewered leg of lamb

That steak looks good to me too, but I can't imagine spending $30 on lunch. That system is pretty much standard in all rodizio restaurants. Green means bring me meat.

I had dinner at Grimpa's about a month ago or so with some friends. Excellent quality. They had a pile of arugula at the salad bar which is dressed with some really good shaved parmesan and olive oil. Simple but delicious!

I'm not sure how my friends had room for dessert, but they went to the little ice cream shop around the corner afterwards.

They're mailing me an invite to try them out. Wooo

I'll let you know how my experience with them goes. Last night a few friends went and they said the place was awesome. They said the best thing was the service they received.

I like Grimpa as well, Flyingman. Then... my boyfriend got horribly sick from the food and we had to leave before we were even able to stuff our faces. It was strange, he eats everything.
