I went to Porcao last weekend. I forgot it too has water views, mainly of the bay and the waterway that runs in between the mainland and Brickell Key. If you eat there will there's still sunlight, the view is pleasant. By the way Porcao is now called Rios.

I just discovered Shuckers for the first time a few weeks ago. It's awesome! My friend and I were determined to go back until we make friends with people that have boats.

Taverna Opa in Hollywood is waterfront. It's a nice restaurant but I'm not sure if it gets obnoxious like the one in South Beach, with people dancing on tables. The one in South Beach is not waterfront.

Ah, that's cheaper than Porcao, which was about $60 per person.

Yes, it's just like the one on SoBe as far as how crowded it gets and the dancing on the tables, but it's a different crowd.

There's another one off Oakland Park, also on a river, that's much quieter. They do table-dancing as well, it just doesn't get as crowded or crazy.

Also Conch Republic Seafood Company is a fav of mine in Key West, right overlooking the marina....o

I have, it's a blast, and yes I went on a boat, and yes I danced on the table... And yes, I was 3 sheets to the wind.... and be careful not to spill olive oil on the table before you dance!

I was there this weekend! And since it's South Florida, I also want to throw in another Key West spot that I just discovered, Alonzo's Oyster Bar.

It's right on the pier and you can sit out and look at the boats.

Forgot the name, but on the 25th fl of the Conrad on Brickell ( Espiritu Santo Building ), there's a quality restaraunt with great views of the bay. The day I went, Italy was playing USA in the World Cup. The chef got creative with the menu and named some of the dishes after the better known players. Bit pricey, but maybe what your looking for.

Is that Indigo? I know Indigo is somewhere on Brickell, and I've been dying to try it since last year's Miami Spice... maybe this year...

I looked up the name. It's called Atrio. You can find some reviews in Zagat here .....

When don't feel like driving or cooking, we walk down to the Brasserie in Brickell Key for a pasta dish. Nothing out of this world- but OK.

Oh yes, I've heard of Atrio!
