Default How's the Sushi at Nikki Beach ?

I made a quick run to the Portofino Liquor for some beer and my sushi was gone when I got back.

I didn't know kids like sushi! I didn't have any sushi at Nikki, but they had a nice display of assorted rolls as well as seaweed salad.

I was busy having a waffle with chocolate and strawberry sauce..which was so good.

She eats anything !!! Especially those left over cup cakes from the tailgate. That evening she was so quiet in her room, I went to check up on her to find cup cake all over her face and bed spread. She's going on a diet.

I didn't know Nikki Beach served beach goers. Does anyone else do this on SoBe ?
I remember years ago trhe Marriott did but that hotel changed flags.

Yeah, well done to her for eating that. Sushi is seriously beyond my comprehension. Raw Fish?? Really?

    LOL!!!

They were my cupcakes!!! We're clearly going to be great friends. I'd have finished them off if it hadn't started raining.

Nikki Beach sushi is outstanding. Expensive but very good.

I tasted the sushi at the buffet and it was very good, but I'm not really a sushi expert. It's something I've been getting into lately and beginning to appreciate.

Never got into it before because it just never filled me up. It still doesn't, but I still like it.

Thumbs up Brunch at Nikki Beach

From my experience, Nikki Beach keeps the entire buffet (including the sushi) fresh, and well stocked throughout the day.

I didn't know Nikki Beach served beach goers. Does anyone else do this on SoBe ?
The deli at Joe's Stone Crab is a good spot to grab food on your way to the beach, but I prefer a sandwich from the store at the Miami Beach Marina.

Another option is the new Publix on 5th Street.

They even have sushi at the CVS at 5th st... weird huh? I don't think of CVS as a place you'd wanna buy that. Sunscreen yes, sushi... not so much.

    Under the Sun,

The best thing to do if you want food for the beach is:

    1. go to Publix like Gus mentioned and you can have a sandwich made, and they have a bunch of other ready to eat food in that area.

    2. go to Starbucks and get coffee cake (cake that is not actually flavored with coffe just to clarify if any Brits are reading this), or a sandwich.

    3. take a break from the sun and go to Big Pink, or call ahead and place your order for pick-up.

Why don't they just call it cake?! Or cinnamon cake?! Haha that day was funny

But they won't deliver to the actual sand on the beach. We know. We've tried.

Recieved an e-mail like everybody else here from IN Card. Didn't know till then that Nikki Beach offers the discount.

Getting sandwiches before hitting the sands is a good idea. Each time I've tried that, the sandwich usualy gets too soggy when I got around to eating, especially if it's a wrap. We used to go to a place on an end corner on Washington that had some great quickie food, before heading to the beach.

Wow, you open those emails? Is the discount on everything? Brunch on a Sunday??

(And don't tell me to go read my deleted email! It's gone!)

I usually ignore them, but I needed to check up the places where you get a discount. It;s been awhile since I've checked the list. It just mentioned the establishments that will honor the discount.

Yeah, I doubt it applies to the brunch.

I'd like to get the black card. The silver one seems totally useless.

I have a black card! The bummer about it is that Epicure no longer give a discount for it (at least last time I was in town)

    To apply go to:

    INcard - Miami Beach

I had them send it to my Miami Beach address and I got a block card, so I assume that's the one locals (like me!) get!

The IN Card discount works everyday! Brunch included!! (It does not work for drinks or prix-fixe menus like Spice for example)
