Default South Beach Tourist Left Love Note on Windshield!

In all my years on this planet, I have experienced many weird things in South Beach, but this one was a first. I walked back to my car after meeting someone who hired me for writing career/blogging consulting and instead of a parking ticket, this is what I found:

Has anyone else experienced anything like this?

Looks like a guy who doesn't have a lot of experience with women. Is it a German guy by any chance?

Yes Mailer, most likely ... look at the email extension. The graph paper and the writing style seem to give it away. I blocked out the name for privacy purposes but it is German. And someone with that email really is on Facebook!

Yeah I have had that happen. In England, not here. And more than once. Very European style of asking someone out I guess!!!

I like it. It's brash....impulsive....straight to the point, with an element of danger! Do your Interpol check and you're good to go!

    So Maria,

Did this guy notice you from afar, or did you actually meet him at the blogging thing? Keep us posted if you decide to go on a date with him!

    Doug, you crack me up!

Jess, hmm I bet it would happen to you here if you had a car ... leaving a note on a bicycle might not have the same ring to it ;-)

Christy, he is not the guy I met for blogging advice. He noticed me from the corner of the Essex Hotel apparently.

Blackie, LOL. The note got wet in my purse when my water bottle cap wasn't closed all the way and it dripped slightly.

Catt, so should I friend him on Facebook?

maria if it was me, i think i'd send a message on fb cause i'd be so curious. and he gets props for initiative.
i'd at least follow up on something like that, the curiosity factor alone would pique my interest.

That's crazy. I say go for it, because it makes an interesting story if nothing else.

Well, look him up on FB to see if he's your type and of course, find out about more info. And then come back here, and tell us what happened....

So I sent him a FB message. His account is private so I couldn't see much besides his friends list however he does look very cute in his profile photo. Stay tuned!
