Default Where do most of topless sunbathers go on the beach?

Me and my girlfriend, and yes she goes topless, want to be near most of the topless women on the beach. Where is the best place to find topless sunbathers?

Your answer doesn't need to be exact, could for example say between 15th and 17th street

Wow, so many people are curious as to where they can find the largest number of women tanning topless! Here's a tip, if you see another creep with a video camera pretending to shoot at the ocean, you might be in a good spot.

Ladies, if you see creepy guys with video cameras pointing at you, and then the ocean-as soon as you look up, tell the lifeguard who will call beach patrol. That or stare them down and they'll leave.

13th Street, I think. It's right next to the gay beach are at 12th Street.

And if I see anyone videotaping or photographing the topless girls around where I am, I'll definitely take care of it.

Interesting, have you ever tried this? What are the rules being broken that the beach patrol may enforce? I see dozens (if not hundreds) of people with cameras everywhere, but no sign that photography is illegal. It may be rude, but rudeness is not a crime, I would imagine.

It's not regular cameras shooting photos. I saw one guy, two days in a row, with a large video camera fully dressed-(he wasn't on the beach to tan and swim). He was there filming girls who were tanning topless. My friend told me someone was filming us and I didn't believe her. When we covered up and looked at him, he was inncoently shooting the waves. People were on to him, and I saw a girl walk over to the lifeguard stand. This was four years ago and I personally have not experienced it since then, but I can tell we have another future filmaker here with similar plans.

I did wonder about that other thread too, last week I think.

OK, your point is fair enough in that context.

Disorderly conduct. Inciting a riot. Harrassment.

My wife will occaisionally tan topfree, and we have heard stories of the wandering camera pervs. Luckily, we haven't seen anything really blatant (yet). .... Usually there's no more than a guy or two snapping a quick photo of their girlfriends/wives. But, we do keep our eyes out for the wackos, as we have heard the stories.
Photography is a hobby of mine, but I am careful to respect the privacy of others....and a topfree scenario is a big no-no. If I want to do some bikini photos of my wife, we find a less crowded area of the beach far away from others, and I keep the lens only in her direction to keep others at ease. It's the lone guy in full clothes you need to watch out for. The pervs have really ruined it for legit photographers.

bryaniowa - Just in case your question is legit, here is what I recommend.... My wife also feels more comfortable if she is not the only one who is topfree, so I understand what your girlfriend means. The thing is that most women (my wife included) don't want to be the _first_ to drop their top. They wait for others to go first. What she has found is that if she does go first, other women will usually join in pretty quickly. So, if your girlfriend can be a trail-blazer and go first, usually more women will join in. Then, she'll be in the "topfree area" of the beach....one that she created.

In case you are even considering taking any photos of your girlfriend.....unless you go to an uncrowded area of the beach (far away from others) for a couple photos of your girlfriend, it's best to leave the camera at home or locked away.

The rest of us will be less likely to want to drown you. :)

This is a good thread about what women wear at what beaches: http://forums.miamibeach411.com/show...what-they-wear

Topless sunbathing is common on Miami Beach beaches. There is no "one" boob beach, LOL. Just go where the most people congregate on the weekends during prime cancer hours -- Lummus Park between 5th and 17th street.

If you are a woman sunbathing topless I don't think you really have any protection against creeps. You're exposing yourself in a public place where there is no law against photography and where tourists are flocking with cameras. If it concerns you that much, don't let the girls out.

You actually do have a right not to be harrassed. I know we've been over the weird rulings on intrusive photography in public, and while technically the photographer does have a right to do that, I would bet you that if you went to the lifeguard and told him some creepazoid was photographing you, he'd be dealt with.

The thing is, creepazoid would have to have the balls to bring a case against the city if he was ejected inappropriately. You think he really wants to stand in front of a judge and explain what he was doing?

Well, it would not behoove the creep to get caught, which is one of the reasons it's creepy -- he/she is being sly and underhanded. We need Carlos Miller to chime in on this.

Our friends Scott (Ipanemic) and Carlos (Miami Fever) are always out and about taking pictures on the beach. They've caught quite a lot of tits and ass on their lens -- heck some of it not even on the sand -- but still in public. Would we consider them creeps or artists?

I'm not referring to people in this forum, but many a woman out there complaining must have a really skewed sense of modesty if she minds people with cameras on the beach and then wears such a short dress or skirt to a club you have to wonder if she's going to catch something just from sitting down on a bar stool. And then of course there's mega cleavage. If you're going to flaunt it, then own it and don't complain.

Coach, you are so wrong. Those are the charges that cops pull out of their asses on a regular basis only for them to be dropped in court.

I'm surprised you would have that same cop mentality.

While it may be creepy to film topless girls on the beach, it is not illegal. Simple as that.

If you really want to get legal about it, it is the topless women who are breaking the law because that is just tolerated, not legally permissible.

I agree with Carlos. There are tons of voyeuristic websites that feed into the whole concept of taking pictures of average women in states of undress. Why do you think you see so many pictures surface of girls baring it all at Mardi Gras, Fantasy Fest, The Naked Mile, and yes, at topless or clothing optional beaches. And before some of you say that topless or clothing optional beaches are different than the other events, let me remind you that all take place on PUBLIC property. If you don't want pictures of you topless circulating on the internet, don't go topless in public! Much of the voyeur website industry is driven by the acts that women do in public. The law says that cameras are allowed in areas where there is no expectation of privacy, ie. at a public beach.

To the folks who said that they would confront or bully such voyeurs/perverts, remember that you would be the one breaking the law, not them. I don't condone voyeurism if it is done where the expectation of privacy is a given, like a locker room, bathroom, someone's home, a doctor's office, massage parlor, or a dressing room, and there are laws that prohibit that in most states, but someone taking pictures on a public beach is as legal as walking on a public beach during its open hours.

The fact is if you are going topless in public, your picture is out there for all to see. It is not a comforting thought, but it is a fact of life. Don't go topless if you don't want the world to see you topless.

Only myself, Maria and Doug plus Mr and Mrs 411 can do that I am afraid. What did you want to delete?

Well, I was going to delete my previous post, rather than just make a comment that we needed a way to delete our own posts.

Speaking of creeps, let's not forget that leading porn companies like Bang Brothers and Reality Kings got their start and are doing very well here in good ole South Florida.
