A judge dismissed my case today after the cop didn't show up

Some of you might remember that I was arrested last year on South Beach during Memorial Day Weekend after I photographed a cop against his wishes.

My trial was scheduled for today, but the cop didn't show up, prompting the judge to dismiss the case.

I'm a free man!

The police officers and judge probably know you'll publicize every detail, so for them it would be less damaging to skip it entirely. (I'm assuming you're in the right).

What was the charge? Is it really illegal to photograph cops in Miami without permission? Glad to hear the case was dropped.

LOL cos I was on Jury Duty this week! Imagine if I had your case Carlos!!! I'd have swayed the jury to your side, but luckily you didn't need me

Actually, Jess, that would have been a good way to leave. "Yeah, I know this guy. He tries to take my picture against my will all the time. I think this is a good chance for there to be some sort or repercussion."

Then you would not have to feign ignorance of the constitution.
