H&M coming to South Florida
Fashion retailer H&M will be opening its first store in South Florida this year — at The Gardens Mall in Palm Beach Gardens.
The news was announced today in an exclusive with this blog and the Palm Beach Post.
The Gardens Mall location will be a two-story flagship store, meaning that when designers team with H&M for specials lines, this store will carry them. In the past, designers Jimmy Choo, Sonya Rykiel and others have created lines specifically to be sold in H&M stores.
The store is slated to open around Thanksgiving, and will be near the Brookstone in the mall.

I kind of remembered this was your favorite store. I used to shop there in Dublin. They had a nice grocery store.

H&M is only clothes. Good clothes at that

The place in Dublin had clothes but they also had a high-end grocery store on the first floor. Maybe I'm thinking of something else. I have to look it up.

It was probably within a shopping mall or something.
Miami sucks so badly for shopping. I wish they'd open it here.

Oh, Jess. You don't need a car in Miami. Nobody needs a car in Miami. I'm sure you can take the bus to the metrorail to the tri-rail to a Palm Beach County Transit bus to another PBCT bus and get there. Get started a 6 a.m. and you should be able to get there before it closes.

Just for that, YOU will be the one driving me.

According to the developers of 5th and Alton, they tried their best to get them in that development. Offered them the best space fronting 5th and prime sign space. They still said no.

How long is the drive? I'll come with you! Most of the things I get and H & M I never wear...anyway at least if they have nice dresses not everyone in Miami will have them..

See Matt, now you are taking not one, but both of us. That'll teach you.

The drive up there is an hour and a half to 2 hours long.

That's ok. Matt is used to driving from G'ville, he won't mind

OK, he should pick everyone up on the forum and we go on a road trip.

Hahaha. Funny, guys. Or maybe Jess can take us all on a guided tour of South Florida public transportation so we can all see how needless a car is here.

So you're saying the H&M management actually has a clue?
