So its been rain pretty much every day this past week so i havent been able to get out and do what i want. Tomorrow, assuming my girl feels better we are going to the Aquarium and possibly up the mountain so i will have pics.

I've also decided to test my fate and get some dental work done here. Last time i went to a dentist in the states they told me i needed a root canal. Well i didnt have time to get one as i had to go back to work plus i wasnt to keen on the idea of paying $900usd for one. Well i did some asking around and turns out there is a highly recommended dentist about 4 blocks from my apartment who quoted me for a root canal at $100usd. I plan on getting x-rays though to make sure i even need one because none of my other dentist have ever said anything and it was just the one dentist in Miami, the very first time i went to him too. But if i do i rather get it here for cheaper.

Yep, some medical services are ridiculously cheap. But don't forget that the minimum salary over there is pretty low. Still, on average big medical procedures (esp. plastic surgery) adjusted to inflation are half of what they cost in the US.

Yep, i just had a cleaning, root canal and chipped tooth fixed.... all for roughly $210usd. The dentist spoke perfect english and was actually probably one of the best dentist i've ever been too. Nothing hurt, everything was done perfect.

Ouch 1400!? Definitely glad i had it done down here then.

As for the girl basically a few weeks back i was supposed to go out with the girl that my friend from Barranquilla was hooking me up with. Well she flaked on me but i still went out and ended up meeting another girl and we've gone out a few times, she was with me when i went to Publieto Paisas and we were gonna go out this past weekend but she was sick.

Im headed back to Cartagena for a week next Monday so this is my last week in Medellin. I'll probably go out with her one more time and then cut it off. She is a nice girl though and if i was sticking around i would definitely date her.

Im actually not a big fan of Aguila, its better than Pilsen but I like Club Colombia the most.

$1400 for the dentist??!! It's cheaper to fly to San Diego, rent a car and simply cross over the border to see a dentist, and then fly back.
