Default Looking for holiday advice on a few things?

Hi guys new to the forum, i'm thinking of booking a weeks holiday to Miami due to the fact that my Football (soccer) team will be playing a friendly game there on the 28th of July at the Sun Life Stadium. I will (probably)be travelling from the UK alone, so the points im unsure off are, if i stay at Miami Beach,

what will be the best way to get to the stadium?

Hows the nightlife for a single outgoing bloke (terms of saftey rather than anything else) like myself?

and what would be recommended i go to see while in Miami?

Any advice will be very welcome
    cheers
    steven

Welcome to 411. I can't believe Chelsea are coming here.

Getting to the stadium from Miami Beach is a nightmare. Your only chance of doing it is to rent a car. Here are some tips on doing so here in Miami:

And here are all the answers to the nightlife questions you may have:

The nightlife is ok for single people. We have a lot of tourists here who are always looking to meet people. The bar at the hostel on Washington between 2nd and 3rd streets always have a lot of travelers from around the world, and is a good place to meet people.

Getting to SunLife from the beach is rough. Taxi is your best bet if you don't wanna deal with renting a car.

We offer a tour through this site, if you wanna get out and kinda see the whole city at once. Then is there's any specific area you really liked that you saw on the tour, you can arrange to go back there. South Beach is what you see on TV and in movies and that, but that's a very small part of the city.

    Hi Steven,

As a guy you'll be fine going out alone. You should stay at a fun hotel with a good pool scene and you'll meet people. There are tons of hotspots at night in Miami but just make sure you go on the right night.

During the day you can do the City Tour, go to Key West, and the best spot in July will be the beach or hotel pool! Lincoln Rd is fun for dinner, drinks, and shopping. Enjoy!

In Miami, you will get a lot of options for staying. You can get a big verities of accommodation with wide facilities, But the main thing is you should have pocket weight accordingly...

Actually Chelsea is playing Milan. I'm not sure yet if I'm going. For these games, not all players come. Last year Barcelona played against Chivas Guadalajara at Sun Life also. The stadium was full almost to capacity. Most Barcelona players came, except for Messi, Alves and Mascherano, who had all just played the Copa America. Hopefully, both Milan and Chelsea bring their full squads.

My British aunt who lives here is going to the game. I'd go if it was another team, not a fan of Chelsea.

Yes I would imagine most of the Chelsea team will play depending if they pick up any knocks in The European Championships this summer, which hopefully they dont. Looking forward to it!!
