Default Looking for hotel for bachlorette party weekend

    Hi all!

Trying to find a hotel for $200 a night (cheaper wouldn't hurt).

Using Expedia the bride seems to have narrowed her like list to Colony Hotel, Nassau Suite Hotel and Wyndham Garden Hotel.

Wondering if anyone has been to any of these and can give me their review on them.

    Thanks

They're all nice hotels. Stay away from the Parisian, Geneva and Atlantic Beach. You might also want to check the Albion, Cadet, Tropics, Catalina, Continental and Deco Walk.

What dates are you going to be there? The time of year makes a big difference in what $200 will get you.

Of the three you named, I would go with Nassau Suites. Very good location, and most of the rooms are suites which will be useful for a group. It's also better than the other two.

Thanks to everyone We plan on going sometime in April. I will continue looking online until I can get all these girls to decide and book.

The Catalina hotel may also be in your price range. It's on Collins, but you do have to cross the street to get to the beach (but that's also why it's more affordable than than some of the beachfront hotels. It also has a fun party atmosphere and small rooftop pool.

The Deco Walk and the Tropics are nice hostels, so they can work too.

What about the Clevelander? It's a happening little place right in the middle of the action. I don't think it's more than $200 a night...

Eww....never mind! Just checked their site and things start around $325. Still, maybe you could get a deal through priceline.com or one of those sites.

You might consider some rental apartments via airbnb ... a friend/client of mine just rented a great one a short walk from the beach. I can't vouch personally for any of the owners, but it does seem to be another option for larger groups. Just remember to have everything signed on paper and avoid anything that smells like a scam.

I stayed at The Colony 4 years ago for a week and I really liked it. It is in the best location, on Ocean Dr at 7th street, and the hotel staff were nice. They had free beach towels back then also. The rooms were clean, modern, and the further back your room is the better as it is quieter down the side of the hotel. My only complaint was I used the phone in my room and they added ridiculous charges but as soon as I pointed that out to the front desk, they took them off the bill.
