Hotel for a guys trip in late June

Coming in late June for a party trip/vacation with two buddies. We are going to be in town for Irie Weekend. Last year I stayed at The Dream on Collins and my buddy stayed at the Ritz a few blocks up. This time a third guy is coming with us. I'm looking for the hottest party hotel for the 21-30 crowd. The place where all of the ladies are young and fun. Has to have a great pool scene. I'm thinking the Delano or the new SLS if it's done. Money no real object. Location is important as lots of events are in the South Beach/Miami Beach Zone. Any suggestions?

Shore Club and the Perry (formerly Gansevoort) probably have the two best pool parties, per se. As far as an overall pool "scene,' yeah the Delano is good. As is the W, Shelborne (sometimes), the two I mentioned. The pools are nice and all but the organized parties are the only time it gets crazy. Still lots to look at.

Why not the 'W' or the Four Seasons if money is no option.

Well, the W or the Four Seasons are easily $300-400 more per night than the other hotels listed by the OP.

I would do the Shore Club or the Delano..but I think the Shore Club would have the 21-30 yr old crowd you're looking for.

I would maybe go with the Clevelander. Ground zero location, fun, pool party atmosphere.

The Clevelandar isn't on the beach though, but it's definitely a place where all the guests are up for a party.

No hotel is 'on the beach'. Even the expensive ones on Collins you have to go out the back gates, cross the boardwalk and walk up to the sand. At the Clevelander, you cross the street and walk on to the sand. Probably a 30 second difference in it.

Well the hotels that are right on Collins offer beach lounge chairs, towels, umbrellas and food and drink service on the beach. To me that's the big plus.

That is true. If you want a beachfront experience then the hotels north of 15'th street or south of 5'th are the way to go. However, reading over the original post I see the OP was mainly interested in a party hotel, not so much beachfront.
