    Default Kaskade Suites at Gale--Stunning

Sexy and chic...marble bathroom and gray Brazilian wood flooring....see through glass, rain shower with steam room feature. Bathroom has toilet seat that automatically raises when you approach it along with remote control for electric flush. Stunning mini bar area with see through glass tempersture controlled refrigerator....unlike the regular Gale rooms this place has plenty of storage space....sofa by the bed and I have one of the rooms with the outdoor Japanese tub on the outdoor deck. Stunning and a steal at the price I got.

    Actually, Italian wood.

Walls/floors little thin--can hear loud music next door/kids running on floor above me.

Rooftop deck not completely finished but looks like they will have bar and grill/hot food facilities. Small dipping pool. Elevator was not operational--not big deal as I was on 1st floor but pool is on 4th floor.

Thanks for the review and glad you like it.

Do the suites have a kitchenette? Is it more like a studio or a 1-br?

No kitchenette...nice wet bar area with sink and see through, temperature controlled refrigerator stocked with water, beer, fruit juice...alcohol bottles on top shelf.....state of the art lighting that senses when you walk into an area that you can adjust to mood lighting. I could definitely model my next bachelor pad after the design of this room...also looks out across the street to chic Casa Tua.

More like a 1 BR.....something you would see in Europe, especially in Spain, with the see through/glass shower, tub, and steam in the center of the room....considerably larger feel than standard Gale room with very little closet space and cramped bathroom--not here....gonna miss the toilet lid that rises when it senses you enter the room and the heated seat.

Booked my next visit for 3 nights in April....pays to check The Gale website as they often offer nice discounts on minimum 3 night stays--got Wednesday arrival for 3 nights at an average of $225/night at Kaskades before taxes. They have done away with their daily food and drink credit but offer free breakfast instead.

Is that a good deal? $225/ night is a good price now for Miami? I haven't looked recently... seems hotels went up like the rents!

$200/night for Sobe in March is standard, even for the crappier hotels.

So yeah, $225 for a new, nice place like Gale is a good deal. Great location too for vacation.

I've heard great things. that was an apartment building until recently so makes sense the rooms are bigger. Thanks for the review, yeh $225 seems cheap for a nice place like that.

Kaskades also have an in room steam bath shower and a nice rooftop pool...the first floor units also have a sunken Japanese tub on the outdoor patio.
