Motels in the Calle Ocho Area

can someone give me advise of any good "motels" in the calle ocho area close to the 826 exit?

Hey dennis...

Before I continue, let me just say that I've never stayed here; don't know anyone that has; and, can;t even picture it in my head right now. I will however take a little drive later (after rush hour dies down) and try to snap some pics for ya..

The closest place I can find to the SW 8th ST exit from the Palmetto (826) is La Fuente Hotel (7470 SW 8TH St). I found two reviews- both positive. That's gotta count for something, no?

It is within walking distance of a liquor store...

Uh, aren't all the hotels on SW 8 St. (and Flagler as well) hooker hotels? Or is that what you're specifically looking for?

If so, I'd recommend the ones between SW 42 Ave. and 57 Ave.

Wouldn't you rather stay on the Beach, or even the Embassy Suites near the Airport?

Aren't the Airport hotels close to Calle Ocho?

Yes, the airport hotels are about as close as you get to Calle Ocho without ending up in a heart-shaped jacuzzi.

Lok guys, anyone requesting advice for a motel on calle ocho near the 826 exit is obviouosly doing so for a reason. I'm guessing this is not a fun in the sun vacation. Hell, I really don't know what it is since I don't believe I've seen a request like that before. that being said, any tourism is good tourism, I say. Have fun on your trip here, and enjoy scenic West Miami.
