I’m a huge CBB fan. It is my preferred place for burgers.

Actually, Deco Sandwiches, on Washington & 14th, makes really good burgers, too. But, you actually want to go there for their Gyros or other mediterranean cuisine. Bad name, but good food.

My favorite CBB story is this. We were there ordering and Annette got a BLT (highly recommended). The guys were back there fixing it up, and the chef looked at the bacon he was putting on her sandwich, turned to the cook and said, “Get me some fresh bacon,” and tossed her entire sandwich. They cooked up brand new, fresh bacon for her. You do not see that kind of attention to quality very often in a cheap place like that.

If you guys ever make it out to San Diego, try Tioli’s Crazy Burger in North Park.  It’s off-the-hook delicious!
