New North Beach Resident

I'm a Miami native and I've lived in South Florida for most of my life. Last month, I moved to my favorite neighborhood, North Beach. I'm interested in meeting people locally and sharing my experiences in South Florida.

Welcome Miami Beach Red! Where in Miami did you move from? I used to live in South Miami/Gables then moved to the beach for almost 15 years. Now I'm back on the mainland.

I lived in North Beach for part my time on the beach and I enjoyed it. North Shore Recreation Area is my favorite beach in the city.

We have a nice community here. Thanks for being part of it. And yes, we do have meetups from time to time.

i absloutely ADORE that in this area, i can look to the left and see only trees, and actually SEE the shoreline - not metal-and-glass buildings..... even if i don't actually go 'to the beach', just being in this atmosphere, or taking a little walk in the park area, is delightful

Getting there just kills me. Could never live there, as today I was driving back from North Beach and saw cars backed up on Alton Road for 2 miles. not worth it.

But I guess some don't mind. Glad you enjoy it.
