Heading to South Beach for a MONTH!

I spoke to someone who works in the building and they are expecting the south pool to re-open sometime between beginning to mid March. That's all they could tell me!

That's a negative? I love being away from Collins, it's so much more chill over here and there's everything you could possibly need right in walking distance, instead of just beach shops and tourist traps. And it's close enough to walk or bike to Collins whenever I want. I used to stay on Collins whenever I'd come to SB. If you're coming for just a weekend, I'd probably stay over there, but for longre term I much prefer the bay side. NHgirly, you are going to LOOOOVE it here!

The only negative of the Flamingo is it's kind of far from Collins Ave and the beach.

Well it's a negative like if you want to go out to eat or to the beach or whatever, you either have to take a cab or take a loooooong walk. As one who lives on the fringes of South Beach, I don't mind it. But to some it might be a drawback.
