Default Photography jobs in a beach area

Hello there! I'm a photographer, I just moved permanently to States from Antalya, Turkey. I was working there as a photographer at resort hotel taking photos for guests at sunset, sea, ect., which was considerably great profitable job. I would like to start my photographer business in one of the Miami beach resort hotel. I'm not sure which hotel would be great for that kind of business. Please give me some ideas.
    Thank you in advance, Basar

I've never heard of hotels down here keeping photographers on staff because most guests bring their own cameras and would probably not want to be bothered by a hotel photographer taking their photo.

This is something that cruise ships do, however, where they have a guy who snaps photos of people stepping off the boat. I doubt it pays very well.

I know hotels don't like to have photos posted on the internet unless they're providing them. I've written stories for this website and some of the places I'd visit didn't want me taking photos. They had their own they said I could use. Whether they hire an outside photographer or it's done in-house, I don't know. You would have to check with each hotel about their policy.

They contract with a photographer, but those guys are established pros in the area and it's usually a one-time assignment.

To get in a position like that will take a lot of networking and hard work, especially if you don't know anybody down here and don't have much of a portfolio.
