Can anyone recommend a place to get stylish furniture on the cheap side in South Beach?

In South Beach no. But if you go to the mainland there is Ikea, Ashley Furniture and El Dorado Furniture. Also try craigslist.

While I wouldn't recommend it for upholstered furniture, you can find some great stuff in the alleys in South Beach! People are always moving and need to ditch some really nice things at the last minute.

I'm not looking for garbage, I'm just looking to pay like $900-1000 for a couch/love seat for example as opposed to $5000. I found this site which is the price point I'm looking for, just need to see what the quality is like: http://www.sobefurniture.com/

There are a few cheap furniture stores in Mid-town. Around 5th and Alton, there's a Pier 1 imports.

Actually, Doug is right. LOTS of people throw away good furniture in south Beach all the time, you never know what you might find.

These are stores I found online. I am not sure about quality but the prices seem good. I am looking for a good priced sofa myself so please let me know what you find out.

Loftsofa gave me the best deal on my modern furniture pieces. You can walk him down on anything. I also liked City Furniture-very affordable. El Dorado was one of the most interesting furniture stores I have been too-it was very electic and has something for everyone. Does anyone know if you can walk them down on their prices?
