Where?! I'm looking. And do not say Broward.

Jess, St. Pete is really a cool place and it's only about five degrees or so cooler than Miami in the winter however, you can go to the beach here at 70 degrees. Because we don't get much of an ocean breeze in the winter, it's quite warm on the beach.

No waves though right? I like to surf so I need East coast I think... We get waves here more than the West coast.

Basing where to live in Florida on surfable waves is kinda like picking where to live in New York by cleanliness.

Aren't the waves better further north? Growing up in Orlando, I thought the waves in Daytona Beach/New Smyrna were better than Miami Beach/Palm Beach.

No, the West Coast isn't known for their waves (usually the opposite).

St. Pete Beach/Clearwater beach is nice and would definitely recommend it.

I personally love North Palm Beach and would love to move back one day. Everyone speaks English, lots to do, great beaches, great rentals & homes, etc. I was only there for about a year and didn't realize how good it was until I moved here.
If Real Estate wasn't ridiculous right now in Miami I would leave and go back.....I miss Guanabana's Happy Hour!
