    Hi Emma,

    Where are you visiting from?

Are you only going to be in South Beach for three months? If so, are you entering on a tourist visa?

I am assuming your J1 visa is for "summer work travel" (max of 4 months)? You should contact your sponsor, they are supposed to assist you with (and monitor) your summer employment.

    Hello,

We are four girls from Lithuania 24-26 years old . And we decided to get to Miami south beach to relax and find jobs for three months.
It would be great if you could tell me is it very hard? (we would search for jobs in clubs like bartenders and we have experience).
Also We speak English good. How is about place to live is where some cheaper flats where?
Also maybe where is companies who are offering to find you a job?

First step is you'll need a visa to work. Do you have one of those? After that we can give you help on the other stuff bu no visa = no job, and no job = no flat.

Some companies will do that, but you have to usually have a specific skill, that they can't find here. The only companies I know that will sponsor people are hotels.

September is definitely rainy season! However, by November it is beautiful.

Most new people find their apartment on Craigslist. You have to be careful as there are scams out there. Try to only look at listings by realtors.
