Hi Spaceman, yes, that's standard. Either cashier's check, or cash for move-in if you're paying in person. After that, it's okay to pay your rent by check. I've found this to be the case pretty much everywhere I've lived.

There are plenty of buses running up and down Collins/Indian Creek. I usually pass 2-3 between there and Lincoln Road. I've never been on one though.

Take a look at this ad ... it's actually in my building. It says Intracoastal view, but that's not the intracoastal!
Maria: Nice digs! What kind of sink is that (Craig List advertisement)? I always see cribs with
those funky looking sinks on those makeover shows, House Hunters and some of the other HGTV
lets do over or find a new home!

Zippyjet, I think that's called a bowl sink.

Question for everyone - I have to scroll sideways to see the entirety of each post. Is anyone else having this problem? I think it's because Burgundy's awesome photos are too large pixel-wise for the forum post format. Gus, can we fix this?

    Maria,
Yes I am having the same scrolling wide issues. Not a big deal though. It's specific to this post and you are right it's probably the pictures behind the glich.

By the way, the pictures are awesome. Really makes me want to look in the Mid Beach 41st street area to live if I move to Miami. Nice.

Spaceman, yes Atlantic BB is the only option. In my experience, cable modem has had very rare outages. Everyone I know on the beach who has had DSL has also had major connectivity & service problems.
