    Default Starting a new life in Miami Beach?

    Hi, I'm Ilaria a 22 year-old italian cook...I live in italy but I'm thinking about coming to Miami beach to find a job and try to start a new life there...I know it's hard to do but I really wanna try so if there is anyone that can help me it will be great...i'll appreciate any advice and suggestion...please help me...thanks a lot

    Hi Ilaria! Welcome to the forums!

    Many people have dreams of moving here but that is going to be impossible without a work visa that will allow you to live and work long-term in this country. And you will most likely need a company to sponsor your visa because in the US we give priority to citizens and legal residents, unless a company can prove that you have skills that cannot be found here.     You should also read through the US immigration website: United States Immigration: Green Card, Visas and U.S. Citizenship

    There are plenty of restaurants that could hire you but I don't think they can "sponsor" you with a visa. You would be working illegally.

    ive done the same thing u r talkin about n its really hard to get a visa in the usa. do your research b4 u plan too much. no visa = no dream in your case.
