Neo Lofts 10 S.W. South River Dr. a safe neighborhood?

I'm thinking about renting an apartment in Neo Lofts (NOT Neo Vertica) It is located a 10 S.W. South River Dr. Does anyone hagve some info about the surrounding area? Is it safe at night, etc?

That's basically the edge of East Little Havana, which is where I live. It's not a BAD area, per se, but if I were a single female I wouldn't go walking around there alone late at night. That building has a garage, but if you or a visitor parks out on the street, your car may get broken into. I've lived in that neighborhood about 2 years all put together, and it's happened 3 times. But insofar as personal safety, I've never felt in danger at all.

NW South River Drive, just north of there, is an infamous murder body drop point, and be aware some condo dwellers on the river have a lot of late night early morning industrial noise complaints though dont know if thats the case with the place you mention

I actually lived on that building for 2 years. I will say as a female it is not safe to walk outside at night, during the day it is perfectly OK. The street is a little dark and not too safe. However I love the building, it is totally safe inside with 24 hours concierge and security. Has all the amenities such as valet parking, pool, gym, business center and more. The lofts are really nice and it is 5 minutes from Brickell. The residents are really nice and pet friendly.

I forgot to mention, the River occasionally smells too.
