How to write a movie review:
I would like to review Bad Boys because it is a film with which I am intimately acquainted. I can write a review which not only highlights the film's merits, but also those of its ever present unbilled star: the city of Miami.
Hi CaptOtter, welcome to Miami Beach 411. Thank you very much for offering to review "Bad Boys". I'd love to read your review! I'll private message you the details.
CaptOtter's "Bad Boys" review is online. Let me say, I'm very impressed!
He's asking for feedback.
My only remark is, please submit another review. I really like your writing.
Thanks for the review, Matt! Please enlighten us with another. :)
I've selected Miami Blues for my review, because I like dark comedies and this one lived up to its reputation. I'll send you the text by email....
Great job, Doug. Please write another review. It's obvious you know your stuff.

Thanks, Gus! This is fun, and Miami is pretty expensive....So, I'll take you up on the offer to review another one! I just rented Miami Rhapsody, starring Sarah Jessica Parker. It's a romantic comedy, and everybody's boinking everybody (just like the Miami I know and love). I'll let you know how it turns out!

Well done, Doug!
Hey Gus, next movie I'd like to review is True Lies. One of the most blow-up-tastic movies of all time.
that sounds like it would be cool to read...
Hi CaptOtter, sounds great! I remember Arnold and Tom were pretty funny in that movie. Please send us your review, and we'll post it right away.
To follow up my True Lies review, I'd like to review a film that pays homage not only to the noir films of old, but also depicts this city as the sultry hotbed of intrigue that it is. I would like to review Wild Things--the film that taught us all the motto "the more the merrier".
I would like to write a review of the movie Casino Royale; since i have been a huge fan of James Bond since childhood; and not to forget baywatch; and as i was born and brought up in a costal town, i would like to review casino royale.
CaptOtter, was "Wild Things" in/about Miami?
black falcon, a "Casino Royal" review sounds great! Send me a private message when you're done.
The school scenes and the pool scenes in Wild Things were filmed @ Ransom Everglades in the Grove...
Wild Things: a movie about a vindictive Suzy who makes an elaborate plan to get even with those that have hurt her...
Well, technically, we're only reviewing movies listed on the Wikipedia page. But the school has quite a tradition dating back to 1903, it's one of the oldest buildings in South Florida.
CaptOtter, are you interested in writing an article about the school, with some stuff about the movie?
I edited the Wiki page to include Wild Things. You can also find confirmation of filming locations at http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Wild_things and at http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0120890/locations

So, that having been said, the next thing I would like to review is Burn Notice, a television show airing on Thursday nights on USA. To my understanding it's been number one in the ratings every Thursday since it started airing. Some attribute it to the usually not-so-high-quality of other Summer programming--but they're just hating. I've seen the show--there's merit there (and what a view).
........ @ Capt Otter
You movie know-it-all you and the only person I know that can trump me in the 7 degrees of Kevin Bacon game...
BUT smarty pants, I found some too....
The Blackout with Matthew Modine (still hot), Claudia Schiffer and Dennis Hopper in 1997
South Beach with Gary Busey (his face alone is scary) and Fred Williamson (who?) in 1992
Absence of Malice with Paul Newman, Sally Field and a slew of others in 1981
Big City Blues with Burt Reynolds and Balthazar Getty(also still hot) amongst others in 1999
...and did you know that The Bodyguard with Kevin Costner and Whitney Houston was also filmed partly in Miami? Specifically in the Biltmore and Fountainbleau hotels...
There Gus, now we have some more for any other reviewers out there...
