My theory is that they only allowed each blog to win in one category, in order to spread the awards around. Though, I think they did this to maximize the number of people attending the ceremony and the number of bloggers linking to their results page, I actually think it is a good policy in terms of fairness.

Broward's Sun Sentinel announced its Best of Blogs award winners this past Wednesday. On the chilly night, local bloggers, along with their family and friends, gathered around the fire pit at Yolo's on Las Olas Boulevard.

I'm used to people insulting me like that. It really doesn't bother me because it's usually coming from people who have never met me or have not taken the time to know me.
