Re: Seven of us from London arriving in South Beach shortly!
Hi Jake!
Welcome! Sounds like a nice long trip! Are there any females traveling in your group? Clubs will be much easier with a mixed group. You should have no problem meeting locals/other visitors to hang out with while you are here.
I think you will learn quite a bit by reading posts from acky85. He came to Miami for a 2-week visit, partied it up, and told us all about it here.
Some other helpful posts are Table Service, and Birthday Weekend talks about bars in Miami Beach.
If you get tired of partying, and would like to do some sightseeing, I'll PM you a promotion code for a discount off any of our Miami Tours.
Where are you staying?

Hi Michelle!
Thank you for the reply!
Nope, it's only boys coming on the trip but yeah I'm hoping we'll meet some females out there or on here to mix up the group up a little!
Thank you for the links to other threads. I'll be sure to look through them for tips/advice.
I've heard that Miami Dolphins are playing the Atlanta Falcons in a pre-season game on 24th August. Do you or anybody else know how easy it will be to get tickets to that?
We're staying on Collins Avenue. Do you know it?

Re: Seven of us from London arriving in South Beach shortly!
Collins Avenue is a HUGE street, running the entire length of Miami Beach into several other cities. What numbered street crosses it and we can have an idea of what's near you. For your sake, I hope that number is low or you'll be spending a lot on taxis.
For the Dolphins, tickets are beyond easy to get (look on Stubhub.com and you can find them fairly inexpensively). PLENTY of seats avaialable. Or you can go to http://www.miamidolphins.com/tickets...e-tickets.html.
Getting to the stadium however, is extremely difficult without a car. I'd recommend renting one in South Beach just for the day if you're trying to go to the game. It'll cost you about $50 plus $25 for parking. Split four ways that's not bad and is much less than the cost of a taxi. And don't even think about taking the bus or public transport. It's not really an option.
How much should you bring? Well, that depends on what you want to do. If you just want to eat and go drink at bars, budget $100 a day, each. If you want to go to nice lounges and eat at nicer restaurants, probably $150-200. If you want to go to clubs, shit, you'll probably need to get tables which is gonna be $150-$200 each for that. Plus whatever you end up spending on food that day. It really all just depends on what you wanna do.
