    Cool Clubbing in September?

    Hi,

Me and my friend are coming to Miami in September (from London).

Can anyone tell us the best clubs/bars we have to visit whilst we are in town?

We are both 23, and love R&B hiphop and also house music.

We are regular visitors to Vegas and like those sort of large style clubs.

We would also like information on POOL Parties... where are they held, and what days?

    Thanks!

Insofar as pool parties, Shelborne and Shore Club have the two best. Jess, our resident Londoner on here, can give you more details, but those two are good.

The Perry also has a small, but still good, pool party on the weekends. Though I'm not sure if the construction will be done by then at the Perry. I know the party still goes, but the jackhammers make it slightly less swanky. I will adivse you, though, our pool parties are nothing like Rehab. They're fun, and a cool scene, but not on that level. Then again, what is?

As girls, I'd say LIV and Mansion are your two best clubs to go to. Going for guys is a pain since you generally have to get bottle service and that. But as two girls, if you're attractive, you can walk up there earlier in the night (before 12, I'd say) and probably get right in. If not, find some guys by themselves who look like they're struggling to get in and offer to go in with them provided they pay your cover. Guys have a much easier time getting in if they're with girls.

Space, downtown, is a big sort of rave-type club. It's big, and good music. But maybe not as "nice" a scene as you're looking for.

I'd avoid Mokai, Mynt and SET, as they're a little more lounge-y and not much room to dance.

I love the Shore Club pool party on Sundays even though both days are good

For two girls going out clubbing you will have so much fun. I love clubbing only with the girls as getting in is so much easier. You just walk up to the door and they see two girls and boom, you're in. No questions, just go as if you've been doing it forever.

Best clubs are Space (but that's an all nighter house club so be prepared and leave the heels at home), Mansion, Liv (mission to go, get in, you have been warned...) and Dream.

Thanks .. I think we will definately check out the nightclubs in the Fontainebleau Hotel and go to Mansion. What about bars? Any nice bars to go to?

Oh no we was hoping that the pool parties would have the same vibe as Rehab and Wet Republic .. is that not the case? I'm sure we will have a great time anyway!!! Ive not heard of the pool party at the Shelborne??... can you give me some more details please - what day is it on? I think we will go to the Perry pool party on the Saturday and then Shoreclub pool party on the Sunday. Do you need to pre-book tickets like when going to the pool parties in Vegas or can you just turn up on the day? What time do they start?

Hotel wise I think we are going to stay at either the Shore Club or Surfcomber ... still having a hard time trying to decide which one! Do you think there will be more young people staying at the Shore Club?

Thanks sooo much for your help!

Insofar as hotels to stay, I think as we've said you're about even on either one. The Shore Club has the pool party Sunday, so you may want to stay there just to make it logistically easier. And they may waive cover for guests (this is done some places) but I have no idea if Shore Club does it or not.

I've never heard of pre-buying tickets to pool parties here except during Winter Music conference. So you should be ok there. Especially as girls. But, no, while the parties are good not at all like the ones in Vegas. See, we have an actual beach to go to also.

Bars, do you mean NICE bars as in upscale, or just fun bars to hang out at? The Clevelander is always a good time, especially during the day. The hotel bar at the Delano is swanky and a cool scene. If you want local dive bars there's Lost Weekend, Mac's Club Deuce, Lush, Playwright Irish Pub and Waxy O'Conners. Chalk is cool if you want to play ping pong. Kill Your Idol is kinda a hipster bar (I'm not sure what those are called in London) but def. a cool bar to check out. It's right next to Lost Weekend. It all depends on what kind of bar you are looking for.

Yes our pool parties are nothing like Vegas. More like a bar scene, with music and a pool! The beach makes a big difference, as many people just head there at the weekends. But I went to the Shore Club for my birthday and had a blast so you'll still have a lot of fun.
