Going to SoBe this weekend

Whats up everyone, im new to the board hows everyone? im going to sobe this weekend and staying at the sagamore with my buddies. Anything going on this weekend, events? what are good places to go to thurs fri and sat?

That depends if you like clubs or bars or lounges or what.

For clubs, I'd say hit up LIV or SET on Friday. Then Mansion Saturday. Assuming you're not hip hop fans. None of these places will be particularly easy to get into, but if you want to buy bottles or find girls it's not impossible.

Shore Club Sunday for a good pool party. Shelborne pool party also isn't bad Sunday. Not much of a pool scene Saturday day aside from the Perry.

Always fun to check out the Clevelander in the evening, especially if it's not raining. The Delano lobby is worth a look for one drink.

If you're more the dive bar type, check out Lush or Macs Club Deuce (a landmark). Kill Your Idol and Lost Weekend are also decent bars to check out. Playwright or Waxy O'Connor's for Irish pubs. Chalk is kind of a cool place with ping pong and pool tables.

Bamboo is the newest club on the scene, meant to be good. I haven't checked it out yet, its down near 5th street on Washington.

There is a pool party Saturday at the Perry and also the Shore Club has one I believe, although their Sunday one is busier.

Good lounges are Mynt, The Wall, Arkadia and Mokai.

Niiice. Do you know whats the cover for those pool parties on sat? Expensive to have a good time? Def checkin out bamboo fri, ive heard good things about it

Not sure about the cover, but the drinks are always going to be expensive. Getting drunk at any of the above-named places is a $100 proposition.

I would just advise against Arkaidia. It feels kinda like an upscale cruise ship club. Which is ok if you're on a ship, but not if you're waiting in line and paying cover and everything else.

Also, please check the weather reports for this weekend. We have Hurricane Issac coming in to town, so you may have some disruption to your plans.

bamboo - is full of under age people.. its in the old red zone of miami.. crowd is decent..

shelbourne also has a pool party on saturday, and delano on sunday..

mokai on mondays! fridays too...

the wall is pretty good on fridays as well..
