Talking Bachelor Party 03/31 to 04/03 - Advice please!

    Howdy from Texas!

First of all, thank you to the great resource that is MiamiBeach411 and everyone taking their time to help.

Myself, the bachelor, along with 10 of my friends are coming down from Texas on March 31st for my bachelor party. We've rented a house on the water in Miami Beach.

So far, we've gotten tickets to Miami Open for Friday's afternoon match. We figured this would be something different and a cool experience. I think after the match we're going to do some day drinking/bar hopping/people watching in the Brickell area.

On Thursday, we get in early in the AM. We haven't set out plans for the day yet. We are considering driving near the Keys to do some water sports. Any other ideas?

On Saturday, we are considering renting a 51' yacht to take out to Haulover Sandbar around 10/11am. We like to party and mingle with other people, but from some of the videos and pictures I've seen, it doesn't look like people get out and hangout with each other. It looks to me everyone just hangs out on their own boat. Can someone provide some insight to this? In Dallas (at the lake) everyone ties their boats up to each other and parties together. I'm trying to figure out if this is the best bet for that afternoon or our money is best spent elsewhere such as pool parties, etc. Insight on this would be greatly appreciated.

I've been to Miami multiple times and we typically end up hanging out in South Beach all day. It's cool, but I'm looking for something a little different on this trip. I was in Miami a few months ago with my fiance and stayed at Miami Beach Edition, and that area seemed a bit more upscale, which I enjoyed -- just not sure if that's ideal for a group of 11 guys and if there are bars to hang out during the day like there is in SOBE.

Nightlife - We will probably go out every night, but I'm not big on bottle service. We enjoy everything from the small spots to the big spots. We really just want to enjoy ourselves without any hassle. If we have to do bottle service, that's something we would consider. We enjoy mainstream, hip hop, house, etc. Any suggestions?

If you have any other suggestions on something fun we could do this weekend, I would love to hear it. Thank you so much in advance!

    Hey and happy wedding.

Haulover is not where you want to take the boat and hang out with people. That's the naked beach, and the naked people are usually 50+ years old.

The edition hotel is awesome. But there are no bars nearby, so it isn't a bar hopping area. There are bars in the hotels though so you could go along the boardwalk. There's the Palms, The Fountainbleu, Soho House...

Yeah the tie-up boat scene isn't really a thing here most weekends. You could try the Nixon Sandbar or head down towards Isalmorada (though the gas on a 51ft boat doing that would be killer) but most boat parties stay on their own boat here for the most part. But if you wanna get out on the water, it's not a bad way to spend a day. You might also look into a fishing charter.

As for day parties, we have fun pool parties at the Raleigh and SLS on Saturday, but it's nowhere near what you'd picture in like Vegas or wherever. They're fun, cool events by the pool but not insane ragers like you'd imagine. Def not a bad thing to do, but it all boils down to what you want.

If you're looking to do bottle service, the easiest route for you will be E11even. It's not really a strip club, but is close enough for a bachelor party. It's like a real club with strippers in it, and a lot of female patrons. And "regular" club is gonna charge you an ungodly amount for bottle service so Just know what you're in for.

Cool bars with hip hop and mixed format I'd recommend Rec Room or FDR. Basement is fun (guessing you know that) or head over to Bardot in midtown if you're up to get out of South Beach. Brickell is ok for nightlife, but I think you're smart just to do Happy Hours there.

Here's a guide I did for Thrillist. Hopefully this helps a little....

I think matt is right about the 'nixon' sandbar. Off Key Biscayne was more fun than Haulover from when i was a boater a few years ago. Lots of people drinking, playing music, dancing on their boats, etc. Pretty cool scene. Haulover sandbar gets packed as well with boats and traffic backs up by noon on A1A trying to pull in and dock their boats.

Jess was referring to a small portion of Haulover Beach that is nude but you'll be on the bay side not near it. If you wanted to go to the ocean, its just across the street and if you walk a few lifeguard shacks down, you'll be out of the nude area. Towards the inlet where boats come in and out of the bay to the Ocean is a popular dog beach in the mornings. We live near there so we use this beach most.

I can't speak to the nightlife but I do know, a great place to end your bachelor night at 2am or 3am would be Scarletts! Best Gentlemans club in Florida.

It is far though, so if you don't have a car, I wouldn't bother. Scarlett is off I95 in a crap neighborhood. At least e11even is near the beach and other clubs.

On any given weekend a yacht by the name of No Rules 2 does have a quite amusing and entertaining party that sometimes attaches to other yachts. Maybe by getting in touch with them you can be allowed to attach your Yacht to theres. Just be warned this Yacht is almost all ladies and may cause many divorces.

Btw I'm originally from Plano, Texas and coming to Miami all I wanted to do was go to the hottest venues. However, prices for the entrance and drinks where so over priced, that in the long run I became a promoter just to enjoy the scene without spending too much.

One thing which I would suggest if you wish to enjoy a night out would be to buy a preparty package. These packages run from $80-$100 per guy and include unlimited Premium Vodka and Rum bottles with mixers at locations such as Tantalize Restaurant and 1826 Restaurant(this one is being re-named Bunker) then they provide you limos such as the famous hummer killer or stretch Escalade limos to escort you to the hottest nightclubs and give you priority entrance.

I hope this information was helpful, let me know if you need more precise details.

Yes, they are adding a few new things to hopefully entice new clients. The role I play is I'm partnering with them to create a unique preparty experience that has violinists and percussionists playing along side the djs during the 10pm till midnight time period. We hope to provide male bartenders to do a show at tables celebrating a bachelorette or birthday. For bachelors we will also bring female bartenders to do the same. We have many other surprises but Words are cheap in Miami, therefore, I'd rather show then tell. I'll keep the forum updated.

We 10 of us had given a surprise bachelor party to our bestie as she was getting married. Firstly we didn't know on how we can personalize a bachelor party. and it was also a tough time for us too we didn't have any idea on how the bachelor party is.

we searched online on how we could personalise and read a blog from club ink and it was a great help for us. We organized the party in a different manner. I think these tips may help you guys too.
