    Default Hip Hop in Miami!?

I'm heading to Miami May 12-15 and want to experience a good hip-hop rap club... even top 40 hip hop hits... where should I go? Any recommendations greatly appreciated. :]

Studio 23 is good. Classy crowd there and good hip hop.

FDR typically has some god hip hop. And Sunday at LIV.

Seriously! I can not believe someone on this forum would say they like rap! Normal people don't listen to that junk with the profanity and everything! Gangsters and killers do! Terrorists listen to rap! Even "hip-hop rap."

I mean we're just here to help people find their interests, not really to judge them. That's a little harsh, Tommy. I'm not a big rap fan either but some people are, and they're welcome to enjoy South Beach as much as anyone else.

No way! If we stop listening to rap, then the terrorists have lost! Also, if we stop listening to rap, violent crime will drop significantly. Rap causes chemical changes in the brain that cause people to become violent, and exposure to rap makes violent crime, gang life, murdering others, and yes, even blowing up occupied buildings, look permissable and acceptable; I can even bet Timothy McVeigh probably listened to a ton of rap before he blew up the Alfred P. Murrah Federal building in Oklahoma City in April 1995. Like cocaine, alcohol, and heroin, rap numbs the mind to common sense. It's not like in video games either, where everything is confined to the TV screen. It's occurring in the real world. When it occurs in the real world, it is totally not a laughing matter at all.

Growing up, I was a KMET guy. LA's premiere rock station.

My friend Ponce was more into rock than I., but when we heard: hotel motel, Holiday Inn ...... we thought it was cool stuff. Even some of the violent stuff was good and testament of real life which music is what music mainly represents. In general, I'm not a fan of some of the stuff that it glorifies but it's part of our history and society.

Do I seek it ? No ! Just like some might not like or appreciate my music......switch the channel and let others be.
