Question Calm places to visit in Miami

Hi everyone, I'm new at this forum, can't believe all the different information that I've found just giving a little tour on the topics. I joined because my partner and I are planning visit Miami for 2 weeks this year, we are not so sure about doing in Autumn or Winter, so I have some questions hoping someone can help me.

We are trying to remove any negative surprises since this is our first trip to Miami. We are celebrating our 3 year anniversary and I was wondering if there are some nice gay-friendly bars and if you have some options to give us. We have already picked the hotel in the South Beach area, and kinda have the schedule for tourists attractions, but would like to know some specific places to spend a calm and beautiful dinner too, price isn't the issue, we just want to have a memorable stay in the city.

We appreciate every advice you can give us.

Gay friendly bars are kind of everywhere, sobe is a very LGBT friendly place, we even have some crosswalks painted in the colors of the rainbow. twist is a gay club and the palace bar is a super gay friendly with drag queen shows.

There is also Score on 14th and Washington, and Gaythering Hotel on 16th and Bay Road.
Twist which other mentioned is on 10th and Washington.

Besides what is already mentioned, it seems that a high concentration of gay people tend to stay around the beach at 12th street (next to Palace).

I don't know that I'd describe Palace or Twist as "calm." But the Sunday brunch drag show at Palace is a good time. Can't speak to it as a club though.

For dinner, that all depends what kind of food you're into. What do you like? Italian? Steaks? Sushi? French?

We like Italian food Matt, most of it, but if you have another option that you like even if it is a different type of food, we don't have any problem on trying varied things

This forum does not allow for posters to modify / edit / or delete their previous posts. Why? What is the reason for that? I want my previous posts deleted...and so far, I have been stonewalled... I need my posts deleted!

For Italian, I'd say Dolce if you want good and relaxing. Scarpetta if you want high end, fine dining. Pane y vino if you want small and romantic.

I think Matador Room is really cool too, just sit outside so it's not too loud. Seagrape is pretty great too.
