That depends on your definition of prostitute.

On South Beach, a prostitute is not necessarily a street walking hooker....but yeah, they're everywhere.

Heck, some used to roll around on 22s.

I used to live on Collins Avenue and 9th Street. On the weekends, I would often see prostitutes hanging around outside the hotels near to where I lived, propositioning men walking home from the clubs.

And speaking of prostitution, for those interested, I just learned about a massage parlor on 5th Street, just south of Meridian Avenue.

But much like finding an apartment, a job, or used bike, Craigslist is the easiest way to find local working girls and boys.

My friend used to promote on Washington and said the police send out pretty girls "fake prostitutes" to find guys. If you agree to anything you get arrested on spot. Not to mention some of them are dudes and you don't notice until after the pants come down or the skirt goes up!!

I work with several officers that set up john stings every other week. Also, they come out to party with us every couple of weeks and do many drug stings at the clubs too. Most of the girls would be escorts though not what your average prositute picture that comes to mind. Some make 2k a pop

You'd be really surprised to know how many times you've partied next to undercovers.

No way...that's the best place to find snitches! The undercovers will bust some jacked-up, punk kid with a minimal amount of something and scare the bejesus out of him by threatening to arrest and prosecute him UNLESS he reveals his supplier.

South Beach has escorts, and gold diggers. Miami around Flagler and 8th street is more known for attracting these types.

Collins up around 18th to 25th has plenty of the street walking variety as well. The trick is discerning them from your regular club-goers. Hotel concierges, believe it or not, can help you with this.

I've never not once walked up Washington at 5AM (when the clubs close) alone without a hooker walking up to me propositioning me. They are really pushy too.
