Yeah buy the bigger flasks are plastic anyway. You might see metal detectors this weekend because of the crowd, but most weeks this is not this case.

It depends where you want to go? A drink at Liv will cost $25. A drink at a locals bar will cost $4. If you are doing the Miami nightlife route, then budget for at least $200-$300 for the night.

Hello everyone. I'm making my first and I'm thinking definitely not my last appearance to Miami South Beach tomorrow. I'm also on a bit of a budget do to my direct reason of my visit being to purchase a vehicle. I've only recently today became a member on this great forum. I'm looking for some up to date info on the best way to get the most out of my one night stay in your beautiful city. I've learned of the promoters and their ability to get you into the hottest clubs. Could anyone help send me in the right direction as far as who is the best to talk to? All comments are appreciated.

Well those promoters can only get you in if you're A) A hot girl or B ) a guy spending money on a table. Otherwise, my friend, you are SOL.

Try Rio Station where you can sit out on Lincoln Road and take in the scene for $4 a beer, which is cheap by SoBe standards. There are some good happy hours too. Cecconi's at Soho House has $4 drinks and pizzas from 4-7, for instance.

But if you're trying to hit up a club it's not gonna happen on a budget.

Thanks for the help Matt Meltzer. I do have funds, but do I want to spend 3-4000? No, not really. I'm buying a cobra, not a Ferrari. Any other advice you can offer? Anyone going out tonight that would want to hang with a couple out of towners and show them a good time?

Really? I love the Cleve but the last time I was there I think a beer was $8. That's a pretty big dent in the budget if you're planning to be there more than half an hour.
