Split from another thread - Is Liv good on a Wednesday?

In my opinion the best line-up for nightlife is:

Monday - STK for their dinner party then Mokai, sometimes Coco de Ville (attached to STK) if there's a special event (like Lebron James' bday party a few months back)
Tuesday - Florida Room at the Delano or WALL at the W
Wednesday - dinner party at VITA then LIV, maaaaaybe Mansion if it's a special event (like Bruno Mars last night)
Thursday - W Hotel - pool party/WALL
Friday - LIV or Arkadia, Mynt
Saturday - Pool party at the Gansevoort then LIV, SET, or Mynt for the night time.
Sunday - SET for mainly house music or LIV for hiphop (extreme hip hop)

It's so refreshing to see something other than Monday-Tantra! What kind of music does Mookai have on Mon? Vita is awesome.. for Thurs I'm going to stick with my fav of Gansevort and mynt. On Sat mynt caters to a Latin crowd, so American visitors may not be huge fans. It's so nice to hear some new choices for Friday..

sorry that my response has been delayed for a few days. Logging back in to the forums became a bit of a mission! Luckily Gus fixed me back up and I'm back in the game.

I agree about Saturdays at Mynt. But I tend to find a lot of visitors ask about Latin nightlife because they want to feel like they are in Miami (I get this question like once a week at the hotel - I laugh)

It's hard to find a nicer venue that has Latin music so I typically send them there. Play and Bongos also do Latin night on Satudays... can't forget the leopard unitard rockin' people over at Mango's either. lol

Good topic and good post Kristine.

What are the best times of the night to hit these places? I know it probably varies from week to week, but it would be helpful to know when's the best time to show up. I have a habit of getting to venues too late for my own good, and it's even more of a problem when with friends who are almost impossible to get anywhere with at a decent time!

Dont shoot me for bringing back an old post but it seemed better to bring this to life rather than start another.

Again in prep for next months holiday Ive been sat on Google all day and just found out about Wall which brought me to this post.

Is Wall harder to get into than say Mansion/LIV or is it a similar deal in appearance and attitude etc.

Also is Kristine's post still relevant, apart from Mokai that Fabian has mentioned are there any clubs missing from the list ( I know about Nikki beach)

We are coming for two weeks so Im sure it would be hard to miss all the best places given the length of time we have but at the same time Im paranoid about missing them haha.

Wall is 'exclusive' which in Miami terms means, tiny, small and packed. I have been but wouldn't go again. It's tiny!!! Go to Liv or Mansion which are both 1000 times the size.

Wall is highly overrated. The bar in the lobby of the W is actually better. It's not all that hard to get in, I went on a Thursday and got in with 2 guys and no cover. We walked in and they were playing some sort of played out Usher remix, it was a tiny room that had tables full of old dudes trying too hard. We left after 1 drink.
