Natalie Wood case reopened
The case of actress Natalie Wood, who died in a mysterious drowning incident back in 1981, has been reopened. She was found in the water near the yacht she'd been partying on the night before with her husband Robert Wagner and actor Christopher Walken. Rounding out the quorum was the yacht's captain, Dennis Davern.
Davern recently made statements indicating that Robert Wagner had murdered Wood following an argument that night, and this led the police to reopen the case.
The police maintain that Robert Wagner is not a suspect:

So what's the point of reopening the case then?

My old theory had a Catalina Flying Fish knocking NW off deck.
My new theory involves a disgruntled client of reverse home mortages speaking up.

Re: Natalie Wood case reopened
I never bought the "accidental" death BS, as was told back then. No proof, but if I had to bet, I'd guess that Wagner killed her. Probably not pre-meditated, but I bet she was killed in their fight / argument.
What a waste. Natalie was a babe in her day.

Re: Natalie Wood case reopened
The ship's captain said that Robert Wagner didn't want them turning on the search lights.
I keep thinking of the line from the opening of Hart to Hart:
"When they met, it was murder!"
These old shows had some pretty foreboding lines in them! Like on Baretta, where the song went, "Don't do the crime if you can't do the time..."

Reminds me of an old joke: What's the only kind of wood that doesn't float?
Natalie.
That said, there's three suspects. One is Christopher Walken, and only a communist would convict him. And if Wagner is "not a suspect" I'm not sure what the point is. And who knows, she may have been a complete bitch.
