    I haven't. But I really, really want to. Maybe next time I tell someone I live in Liberty City!

    Oh, I just learned they're going to do a "Real Housewives of Beverly Hills." I don't see the point since they already have Orange County! I'm kind of fed up with the series. They used to show the Housewives doing fun things that were related to the areas they live in. Now it's just squabbling. If I want to see that I can watch Jerry Springer!

    Springer is a way better show than any of the Real Housewives franchise. Trash, to me, is infinitely more entertaining than the rich.

    Yep. Right between episodes of Maury.

    Question meltzer on maury?????

    Having Matt providing expert information about the Maury show makes me wonder if he has any 'first hand' experience with the show---which makes me worry considering the testing Maury is famous for!

    Jersey Shore's first season was absolute unapologetic trash. Thing is... I loved every minute of it, and I am one of the first people to hate on any reality tv show. The charm of the show, to me, was the ridiculous personalities of the characters. I couldn't believe what I was watching was real, that people like this actually existed. The fact that there's a guy that calls himself "The Situation" is awesome in itself.

    The show is incredibly ridiculous trash, but it's like a train wreck. Awful but you have to look!

    Best episode was episode 6. Lots of fights, one of the guys hooked up with his boss's girl, and ridiculous quotes from "The Situation".

    The thing is, I think a second season with the same people and the novelty wears off. It becomes the same guido schtick over and over and over. We shall see.

    And I do have first hand experience with the Maury show, insofar as I went and watched a taping of it in CT back in September. But I have not been a guest, no. I have too many teeth and not enough tattoos for that.

    Oh, I definitely agree. I don't see how they can recapture the "magic" of season 1... especially now that we know these people are now D-List celebrities who will be reportedly getting $10,000 per episode. You already are going to have different reactions to people when they are being followed around by a camera crew and people in a venue know that they have a chance to be on an MTV show, but now we have people who are no longer unknowns, and Jersey Shore is such a hit that people's reaction to them will be even less genuine.

    Still, I'm sure I'll be entertained by the antics and "i can't believe this person is for real" behavior of egotistical douchebags and drama queens, especially The Situation. That guy alone is worth watching the show for.

    Miami.com needs to get real. Check this quote of theirs out;
    Seems the cast of MTV's Jersey Shore is already bored of the Miami party scene. So they've decided to get jobs.

    So they can't chat with customers while they work? That would take the fun out of going if you're a fan.

    They can't chat with the customers, but they can piss in their gelato. Can imagine customers returning their ices claiming they didn't order lemon.

    I admit, I went to Lecca-Lecca today to see them but they don't work the weekend. Then surprisingly, on the way home from Palace Bar, I saw Vinny & The Situation walking down Washington. Vinny was trying desperately to blend in and The Situation was fist pumping his way down the strip! Too funny. But where is Snooki?!?

    DJ Pauly D's gonna have skin cancer by the time he's 35, if he continues the ultra-tanning sessions.
