Anyone interested in attending this year ? It's HS Football's most contested rivalry and hot bed of future college and NFL stars.

This region in Palm County is one of Florida's most impoverished areas but not lacking in athletic talent. The social aspect should prove probably more interesting than the game.
I'll need to do more research but it's something I want to witness. Let me know.

They mentioned the Muck Bowl in "The Glades" TV series a couple weeks ago, and the episode revolved around that town.

Falls on Friday November 12th at 730P. A story would be good. Get there early afternoon. Stick our noses around, get some local grub and talk to locals about the nostaglia they have for this rivalry.

I'll find out by next week from the host school how to get into the game. Must be one of those Friday Lights gigs the whole population tries to attend.

Ran into a nice looking vietnamese girl wearing a Pahokee shirt at a pizza kitchen. It blew me away. She was indeed a grad and lives still in sofl. We talked about the big game and she was all into it even though her alma mater isn't doing as well this year.

I'm still on track for this on 12 November. Want to arrive in the afternoon to sniff around and get some intake on the local culture before the game.

UTS told me he is unable to go, but I am still thinking about driving up there for the game on Nov. 12 to take pics and write a story.

One of the teams is not doing too good this year, but that would just mean there will be more drama if that team wins.

I attended the game on Friday. Definitely an experience even though it wasn't much of a game because it was a blowout.

But the bands were really good.

I got back on Thursday as my trip came to a sad quick ending and I was emotionaly spent.
