Is anyone else having problems uploading photos? Gus had to help me post my Miami turkey photo! I've been trying to post photos, and as soon as I upload one from my computer there's a big red x on the corner of the dialog box.

Edit: seems to have worked with no problem.

I guess it's a Christy problem versus a computer problem. Grrr...Mike can I email you what I see when I try to upload a pic? Sadly I can't post it.

I'm curious to see if anyone is having issues currently? As of a few days ago we upgraded the forum software which should have sorted some of these older miscellaneous bugs! Christy can you upload images without any issues now? Please let me know when you have a spare minute.

Ok, I'm still having problems and requests are being made for Ginger pics! Carlos is also having problems, so it's not me. I use firefox.
I choose images from my computer, then hit select files to upload and I get a red ! next to the images in the insert image box.

the red "!" means your file is too large - hover your mousepointer over it and it will pop up a little message saying so.
re-size them smaller and you'll be fine![]()
I've tried posting tiny pics and I still get the red !.

Yes, it says it's the size, but I've resized them smaller and it just doesn't work.
Maybe the issue is Firefox.

well - sorry - but no. i'm on Firefox too and posted pics fine today. some of them were too big, i got the !, resized, and they posted fine.
however, in a related story-- the site still refuses to remember me'.
Still keeps logging me out randomly; throughout the day and overnight.
Try a photo hosting site like "photobucket", and then copy and paste the IMG code from that photo onto your MB4111 posting. That's what I've used in the past on MB411, and I didn't even have to re-size the photos.

Trying a couple test photo postings to make sure the "photobucket method" of posting photos here still works.

Still works. Just put the photos on photobucket dot com.

Let's see if it still works just the normal way.
Bonus points if you can tell when it was taken.
Edit: Yes, worked fine with no error. Windows 7 64-bit, Aurora 8.0.1
Just to be sure we're doing it the same way:
(a) I clicked on the "Insert image" icon in the toolbar (see first picture below)
(b) I used "Browse" to select the image, then clicked on "Upload Files" to include it in my message (see second picture below)
